On Thursday, August 7, a special children’s cafeteria event was held at Café Giverny, located within Mihara Garden.
In celebration of “Flower Day,” children and university students came together for a special day centered around the theme of peace.

[Activities]

・Kids Guernica (Collaborative Peace Painting)
Children and university students worked hand in hand to express their hopes for peace on a large canvas.
A beautiful artwork was completed, reflecting the children’s creativity and heartfelt ideas.

・Peace Candle Making
Each participant handcrafted a unique peace candle, embedding their personal wishes and thoughts into the design.

The event was covered by local media, helping to share the initiative with the wider community.

[Light Meal Menu]
Participants enjoyed a light meal featuring donuts, fresh fruit, and sausages generously provided by a local butcher—creating a warm, friendly atmosphere for all.

A space to nurture peace and emotional richness through “food,” “art,” and “community.”

The next Children’s Cafeteria event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2025 (public holiday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
